Andrew came along with our churches Seniors trip to Regina. We had a great time and got some nice pics of him at the restaurant.

Here he is eating his "Dirt Cup". I've seen the gummie bear thing on top but never stuck way in the bottom. I found it gross. Everyone else thought it was funny. Needless to say, Andrew captivated a lot of the Seniors there.

There is a story behind this picture. There's a lady in our church who is in a wheelchair and came along today. While she took some turns waking with a cane Andrew toodled around in her wheelchair (he'd been at this museum twice already on field trips we'd discovered). When she was in her chair, and without being asked, he pushed her all around the museum, including to the door of the restaurant after our lunch. I didn't know this at the time, but the husband of that lady and one of our church elders gave him a loonie as a thanx and he turned right around and stuck it in a gumball machine that said "Thirteen pieces of gum for a buck". Andrew's careful spending habits evaporated for a moment. Where he got the bag I have no idea.

Andrew's indoor soccer skills

Andrew just finished his ten week indoor soccer season at a local high school. There were abour 25-30 Under 10's (8,9) there most Sunday's from 2:45 - 4:15. We started with a skill development time, some of which Daddy the coach couldn't even do, then broke up for game for an hour or so.

We got it... far quicker than I expected!

A few days ago we decided to start a "Wii Fund" to get a Nintendo Wii. It's a great little game and we like it because it's not a sit and veg kind of game. These things are notoriously hard to get because the supply is way lower than the demand, for a year and a half! We decide to get one in case we happened to see it, which I haven't for months of casual peeking when I'm in a store or online. So last night we saw a Zellers flyer for a sale starting today. It said every store had at least 10 Wii's (which I didn't really believe). But I mentioned it to Lisa who was going out this morning. She was going to skip it but at the last minute decided to pull into the store.

It was exactly 9 a.m. when she pulled into the store, which opened at 8 a.m. At 8 they had 13 consoles for sale and when Lisa walked itno the store there were 2 left. She nabbed it, and the other one was gone before she left!
