More Christmas Pics
We took the kids out so they could buy some presents for everyone else. Laura just couldn't decide on anything for me and we went into 7-11 for a Slurpee and while there we saw the infamous "Bubba Keg" that some people take on their holidays to Cuba and I told Laura "I would LOVE that!" So she went out and got her money and got it for me, so not much of a secret but I'll get a fun conversation piece which I'm planning on pulling out some morning before a sermon! Notice it says Saskatchewan on the side so that sold me!

Kids Pics
Andrew sending an e-mail to Santa Claus to ask him for a wad of loot!
A lot of gifts are under the tree and the kids are feeling, looking, moving, guessing and whatever else they can to figure out what's in the wrapping! They don't know though we've thrown some clues out there! Laura wanted to pour some water on the wrapping of one of the gifts to make it able to see through. Andrew has written the days left until Christmas inside a book and is crossing off each day as it comes. He announced to me this morning that there are 16 days left until Christmas
Laura made me happy tonight when she told me she was excited for the gifts but that she wants to make sure we still focus on God in all the hoopla! Nice...

Christmas Tree Fun
The tree being "shaked", wrung up and down to get snow or whatever else out of the tree.
And our tree is bundled to go!
Well, the reindeer weren't very sociable today, this is them standing still letting us see their hind quarters, which is the best shot we got of them.

Volleyball Tournament
Laura played in volleyball tournament today. Her team (Cornerstone) came in 3rd place overall. This is Laura, 2 of her teammates and her coach cheering on their team during a set.
The Cornerstone Christian School Junior A Volleyball Team.
Some of the loyal Cornerstone fans (and good friends!).
Two very handsome fans ;)
Ashley & Laura having a chat while watching another game.
All of the Cornerstone girls had blue & gold ribbons in their hair to enhance their team spirit.

Wow!!
She also had a few runs of points off serves. Too bad it was the last game of the year, they won one game, but a lot of sets here and there, and the playoff's start Thursday. With a miracle maybe we'll move on beyond Thursday!!!!

Halloween 2007
Andrew and his friend Tyler (and little sister) from across the street, his costume has light on it so this picture would have been better without the flash.
Laura in her Pocohantas outfit, not liking the picture...
...but okay with it when her friend Katti got into the picture!
So I can't believe this, but I just sent Laura and Katti out to wander the streets by themselves, at least I gave them a cell phone to call home if anything "happens". So a couple of firsts for the Taylor parents tonight: one sending out my daughter on her own (sort of) at night and giving the sole use of our cell phone. Yikes!
Our friends Mike & Julie stopped by with Marcus, the baby hotdog - too cute! The dinosaur is our halloween treat for Marcus because he's too young for candy.

The first win
After two losses to open the season, the Cornerstone "A" Girls Volleyball Falcons team had their first win tonight. After a heartbreaking first set loss where they were up 24-18 we lost the second set to go down 2-o. But then they came back to take the final three sets to win the game. Laura played well, at one point getting 5 points in a row serving and had some really nice plays as well. The team seems to be gelling well and we look forward to playing Caronport next week, where Briercrest College and Seminary is.
